I am a literacy specialist. My goal is to teach students to be lifelong readers and writers. I do this through living my life the same way. I will be sharing ways to motivate readers and writers on the journeys they are beginning.

Positive Graffiti
I created this wordle for the 7VWP Summer Institute using words that my fellow TC's used to describe each other and myself. This is an activity that teachers could use in his/her classrooms. Wordles can be used in many creative ways. Feel free to comment with other suggestions that I can add to my repertoire!

I loved the way we used the wordle as a brainstorm. I've seen many people try to use wordle as a publishing tool. That makes some sense, but to use it as a brainstorm was brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI loved that you collected the words without us really being aware of it, just by listening and being tuned in to what important ideas kept coming up. After presenting the wordle we used writing as a way to reflect, choosing 3 words that jumped out and writing on their significance. It was such a nice use of the tool as more than just cool technology.
